Sony's DPF-V1000 Digital Photo Frame beautifully displays up to 2,000 photos on a 10.2"1 WVGA resolution LCD screen. Direct USB input5 from most digital cameras and support for most memory cards6 makes photo transfer a snap, and you can transfer images from Bluetooth® wireless-enabled devices such as a compatible camera phone4. Auto Correction features help enhance image quality, while an HDMITM connection and HD Output3 lets you share your photos in Full HD 1080 quality on a Sony® BRAVIA® HDTV or other compatible HDTV.  Get one while you can March 11, 2010

Just picked one up from the Sony store in the mall. One warning to everyone, get a Sony digital frame fast, because this one and the upgraded X1000 have been discontinued by Sony. In fact the manager of the Sony Store told me that Sony is getting completely out of making digital photo frames, no reason given, just that they were no longer going to make any. Not sure what that does for my warranty but I picked up the floor model at the Sony store for basically 75% off msrp, so I dont really care how long its lasts, but it looks great so far. Loading pics onto it was a breeze. All you have to do is actually read for two seconds in the manual and it tells you everything you need to know if you do not have basic knowledge of all things electronic. Huge internal memory is great, and takes all forms of memory sticks too, so I'll never run out of place. And getting the 10 inch was well worth it, I sit over 10 feet from where the frame is and have no problems seeing what I'm looking at.

This is probably the best, if not one of the best, dig pic frames on Amazon right now. The picture quality is good, not great. The key thing is that it doesn't constantly freeze up, like most other frames do. This is the 4th i've bought, and the first (thank goodness) that i haven't had to return, for freezing up. Overall, worth the extra $.

We gave this as a gift to our parents, the frame looks great. Directions were well written, very easy to load pictures from many sources, and then have the frame random display from many folders. Excellent picture quality. The gift was a hit.

After reviewing many frames, I finally chose this one--GREAT CHOICE!! Outstanding picture clarity, easy to set up and use. Frame will sense when you change from horizontal to vertical and adjusts picture--great feature.
Excellent images, but compatibility issues January 18, 2010

The images on this screen are sharp and intensely colorful. I ran into a problem with certain image types, however. I have a lot of black and white negatives scanned as JPEG grayscale images, and the frame couldn't use them. Based on one of the other reviews, I tried adjusting the JPEG 'baseline' in Photoshop, but that wasn't the answer. The solution was to go into Photoshop and change image mode from grayscale to RGB color. Apparently, this thing only recognizes color files. It seems incredible to me that a high-priced display dedicated entirely to showing photographs can't handle black and white.
