Piss Poor Design May 21, 2010 Kelsey J. Schnell (Alaska) My husband bought this for me to use at work on my desk. The frame is heavy (to be expected) however the flimsy stand on the back could not hold the frame up. If this were to be wall mounted, it may work.
Our Panimage Digital Picture Frame March 1, 2010 Andrea E. Clausen (IL) We purchased this product to share our fifty years of marriage in pictures taken during our courtshipe and marriage. We took old pictures and Slides along with more recent digital pictures and put them in the digital frame to share with everyone who came to honor us. This worked very well with no damage to old fragile pictures and albums. We had several comments on how well they enjoyed watching the frame
Disappointed January 4, 2010 KricktGirl I bought the frame on sale and there was a rebate (yes, I was being frugal). Frame looks nice. I like the fact that the frame mats can be changed. Easily loaded about 100 pictures onto frame. The digital frame worked fine the first time I viewed the pictures. Remote worked as well. I checked it again before I was going to mail it off to a family member. It froze after the fifth picture. I turned it off and left it alone for a while. Turned it on again; frame continued to freeze up. Deleted photos from frame and saved them again. Still continues to freeze after 5th/6th photo. So I will be returning this one and looking for another one.
Very Disappointing December 30, 2009 Cynthia. I bought this for my kids, so they could see their pictures. I wouldn't give it to my kids, as the pictures show a faint square grid making them all look grainy. Also, the frame crops pictures instead of sizing them to the frame. This meant heads might be cut off or bodies not centered. Very poor quality. The picture would have been clear, I suppose from far away, but it's a 7 inch, so how far away can you get?

br /I guess if you have small horizontal pictures that you want to put in an office as something for show, it would be fine, particularly if you're willing to edit your pictures to make them fit. Anything else and spend a little more to get a quality frame. You won't be sorry.
br /
br /I will say that it was very plug and play. I plugged it in, put in a card and it played the card. But, don't they all?
br /
br /This one has a calendar feature, which I didn't review. It might be nice for that, if you want a high tech calendar.
br /
br /All in all, I was very disappointed. I wouldn't buy another Pandigital again.

Get what you pay for (maybe even less) November 27, 2009 Balint Sztaray (Stockton, CA USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The picture quality is just plain awful. We recently bought a very nice Sony picture frame with supposedly the same dimensions, and that one shows beautiful pictures, while on this cheap one you can each individual pixel. The description on this item says that the aspect ratio is 16:9, elsewhere it's 16:10, but my opinion is that it's actually even longer than that, distorting the images quite a bit. The "stylish" replacement mat looks cheap. Also, the frame is way too large compared to the image size.
br /Don't buy it unless you particularly enjoy the process of returning merchandise, or buy it for someone you really don't like. :-)
